Have you had your tubes checked?

I've been ttc for 6 months and I know the clomid has been helping me ovulate. My dr mentioned needing to check my tubes if I wasn't pregnant within 4 months. So have you had yours checked? What procedure did they do? Did insurance cover it and how much did you pay out of pocket? If they were blocked, how did they fix it?

I paid $168 and they put dye inside of my cervix to see if it flowed thru my tubes. One was blocked but not both.

I just had an HSG this month. A little painful, but not awful. Don't know how much insurance will cover yet... : /

My insurance covers it all.....they put dye inside your cervix to flow through your tubes to check if they are open, While you are under an x-ray machine. It is pretty uncomfortable because the dye makes you cramp.
