Looking for outcomes for those who have had an incompetent cervix and preterm labor. I just hit 23 weeks today and have been on strict bedrest at home for the past week already. I had a cerclage placed at 14 weeks due to my history of an incompetent cervix as well as preterm labor in all of my pregnancies (this is my fifth and I have two living children). I'm also on weekly Makena shots. Last week at my check up they told me I had gone from 3.79cm with no funneling two weeks prior to now 2.24cm and funneled all the way to my stitch. So I was immediately placed on strict bedrest and now every ache, pain, twinge scares me. I have read so many horror stories and was hoping I could find some who had better outcomes. I've done the NICU once prior but he was born at 32 weeks so it was an extrememly short stay.
