C Section???

Anyone recently had or will have a c section? Just curious my Dr showed me where the incision will most likely be and to my surprise it was VERY low. Like an inch above my vagina! Is this normal to be so low? Just curious of anyone else's

I had an emergency csection with my first, and mine is low. This is being the norm, but there are other types on incision that can be made. I will be having another csection this time around, it's like I already have a built in zipper 😆

It's the standard incision these days. I think it's referred to as the "bikini cut," as it will be covered up by your bikini! If you need an emergency c-section, the incision may be a little longer and/or higher up, or even possibly a big vertical incision from your navel down to your pubic bone, aka, the "classical incision." This is rare, however, even in emergencies.

I've had an emergency c section, semi planned c section and will be having my third and final c section in about 10 weeks. My incisions were very low, like slightly below my waistline. Can't see the scar really when I'm my normal weight & not pregnant wearing pants.

I'm going to be having a c section due to really severe SPD/PGP and a small, crooked pelvis. I'm terrified but I'd rather have it planned than try to have a natural birth and have it end in an emergency c section. I don't know much about them but I do know that my sister had one in December and her incision is about 2-3 inches above her pelvic bone.

Yes I had one three years ago and will have another the end of March it's right at the pubic line

That is right, I have had a c-section , and am suppose to be having my second in a couple months . The scar is under my underwear line
