Should I be worried?

Two weeks ago I went for an ultrasound because I was measuring 2 weeks smaller than what I was , today my doctor said they want to do another ultrasound in 2 weeks because my baby's stomach is showing that it's small but everything else is growing fine . I'm 36+4 today and they said if the baby's stomach still shows small they will have to induce me , should I be concerned that her stomach is small?

Usually if the abdomen is still small in the baby or not growing adequately it shows that baby isn't receiving enough nutrition or blood flow via the placenta. Usually they will deliver at that point of diagnosis because it's easier to control baby's growth outside the womb. If left unchecked babies head will stop growing and the risk of fetal complications or death is huge. I've had two friends have their babies for this reason and they're both perfectly healthy and fine now. I'm also currently being monitored for possible growth restriction but I'm only 25w with our third baby so hoping we can make it a lot longer. Good luck mama! 💕
