Are you supposed to wash your hair daily?

So I know people that say you aren't suppose to wash your hair everyday. But if I don't my hair will get oily or look greasy. By the way, I have hair all the way down to my house 😜

You can train your scalp to produce less oils. Start by washing every other day and using dry shampoo the second day. Then if you want after a few weeks go to every third day, etc. I can go about 5 days without washing mine, and if I keep it in a pony tail and used dry shampoo I could probably go about 7. Sidenote: I do bathe way more often than that lol I just don't wash my hair.

My hair goes down to my knees and I wash it every other day. & if it gets a little oily I use a dry shampoo in between. But I think it depends on the type of hair you have on how often you need to wash it. 😄

I wash every day unless I have a day off. Which is never two days in a row. My bangs especially get greasy. If I work I wash my hair cuz i don't like looking sloppy at work

I wash my hair weekly and it's down past my bra strap and very thick. I used to get really oily roots by the second day when I washed daily but ever since I got lazy, my hair is barely oily by day 7.

I wash mine every three to seven days.  It kills your hair to wash with shampoo daily (for most people), dries it out and also dries out your scalp.

I use argon oil to keep my tips moisturized (long hair to my waist).

My hair would die from dryness. Sometimes I have to let it get really badly oily for 3-4 days (gross, I know) because it always looks the best right after I do that then wash it.

I used to have ridiculously greasy hair. I started doing the whole no-poo thing over a year ago and it works great. My hair has more curl and even changed the color. I sometimes use organic shampoo/conditioner  because I recently dyed my hair, but it's maybe once a week. I love it.
