How do I know? My first miscarriage

Today I was told I've had a missed miscarriage.  I'm supposed to be 8 weeks, I was at the office last week when we first saw my baby's little heartbeat.  Through ultrasound they were looking for a heartbeat and they  couldn't find it and my baby measured 7 weeks. So they said I lost it last week.    I've chosen to wait and let things happen naturally.  But how long will this take.  I've not had any bleeding or cramping.  Could they have been wrong? I'm just so confused! Has this happened to anyone else?

I had a missed miscarriage. I went at 8 weeks and no heart beat, went back at 9 weeks, no heart beat and back at 10 weeks no heart beat. My body would not recognize the loss so I ended up having to a d & c at 10 weeks 5 days. I had my surgery on January 8th and I am still bleeding, it's very light bleeding but I am ready for it to be over!

I also has a missed miscarriage. We first saw baby at 8w1d and it measured 6w3d with a heart rate of 111. My doc was skeptical anything good would come of it but had me
Come back 10 days later to check growth and the baby hadnt grown at all, the sac was visibly starting to collapse, and the heartbeat had stopped 😔 it was horrible, still is, but it did me good to see it all for myself and be sure. After that, I was comfortable taking the medicine to induce the miscarriage and that too was awful but they were able to give me an idea what to expect and the worst was over within a couple days. I'm about 6 days out now and still bleeding like a normal
Period but the pain and heavy stuff is behind me. I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you're able to find peace and healing 💜

I just experienced my first miscarraige too. I went in at 9 weeks, heartbeat great. Then at 11 weeks, had normal appointment and no heartbeat. I too prayed and decided to let my body take its natural course, and let me say, that was a hard decision, but one I will never regret. The physical external pain helped to match my internal and emotional pain. I did not pass our lil Madison until 13/14 weeks, which was 5 weeks after her heart stopped. Waiting was hard, but As hard as it was, I am happy I waited. A local ministry at our church called Embrace, came to bring me a kit, that had a book, a memory box, etc. So that I could pass her at home. They also provided a burial and she now rests in a mausoleum with 6 other babies. I have attached a photo of where she lies. I am happy to provide additional support and answer questions. I will keep u in my prayers and am so sorry for your loss.

I was also 8 weeks when we were told it was a missed miscarriage.  I took the pills 5 days after the ultrasound but they didn't work. 5 days after that was when my miscarriage started naturally, so a total of 10 days after the ultrasound. I'm sorry you are going through this :(

We had been monitoring baby for four weeks before she died. I also decided to let It happen naturally mostly because I was in denial and didn't believe it. It took five weeks before I started contractions and bleeding uncontrollably in the middle of the night. Keep in mind my story isn't typical but I ended up losing so much blood in three hours my husband got me to the er just in time as I started going into shock. I don't remember really much of anything from the few days following that. But they did an emergency D&C and I ended up hospitalized and on oxygen because.i was unable to breathe on my own during surgery and then couldn't keep my levels up afterwards. Those five weeks of waiting were horrible. I remember asking my old dr if he could give me an idea of when things might happen and he said "nope, and when it happens you prob won't even really notice it". That was so not true. It was 100x more painful then when I was induced with our first. Praying you have a complication free birth, with as little physical pain as possible and I hope yours comes soon the waiting just seems to add hope. At least for me. 💕

I had a mmc at 10 weeks, baby measured 6 weeks. Probably not what you want to hear, but I'm just giving you my experience. As soon as I found out, I think I accepted it mentally so my body was able to get things started 5 days later. Up until that point, my mind still believed I was pregnant, so I stayed pregnant. The mind is powerful. Do your best to accept it and grieve and I believe that will start things sooner. It's different for every person and I hope your body will take care of it sooner than later. You have all my sympathy :( having something dead inside you is incredibly difficult.

I am so sorry for your loss! I also went through a missed miscarriage. I was supposed to be 9w3d and the baby stopped growing at 6w4d. I started spotting and went to the doctor 2 days later & found out. It was devastating. I also chose to let everything happen naturally. My miscarriage process started a week later. I went to the doctor exactly a month later to make sure everything had passed and it did. I bled for a whole month and then had spotting off and on the next month.
