Mirena removal

So I got my mirena removed on Jan 5 and started my period the 8th. My period ended on the 15 but then started again on the 22 and is still going but it's so much worse than my period before this. It's way heavier and my cramps have been so awful to the point of making me want to barf. My boobs have hurts so bad since the 8th it's driving me crazy. I'm assuming this is all normal and my body is just adjusting to getting back to normal but I'm just wondering how long it has taken other girls to get back to normal? I'm really hoping after this period I get a longer break before the next one starts up. I've already gone through almost 2 big boxes of pads ( I hate tampons and diva cups freak me out) :/
