My experience with getting the IUD inserted.

I just got my IUD put in about two hours ago and I feel pretty freaking good right now. It was not that bad. I took two 500mg Tylenol before I went. My doctor also told me to bring headphones with me to listen to some music to relax. Remember to breathe! I tend to hold my breath when I'm uncomfortable... Big no no. It's more of a pressure and uncomfortable feeling. There will be a quick minute of pain but it's over quickly! It's like a pinch. I had some decent cramping after, but has subsided to some dull aches. I suggest getting pads and heating pads. I use these for my period cramps and they are amazing!!!! Hope this helps!!
