So at 34w6d my water broke while at work. I went straight to the hospital which is about 45 minutes away. My horrible back labor started soon after I stood up to sign in. I was admitted a little after noon and was 3-4 cm dilated. After pitocin, epidural and slow progression even with baby engaged and his head could be felt, the doctor advised that it was risky to the baby to try to continue the vbac and recommended a c-section. So I was prepped and wheeled to the OR and Walker was born at 10:55pm, 5 weeks early.
