I went to my baby first appointment with my baby doctor this past Monday the 25th.

They did an ultrasound because I was having light, brown spotting and minor cramps.

The ultrasound revealed 2 sacs but only 1 yolk & no fetal poles (because I was not yet 5 weeks so it was very iffy to see/tell).

They checked my tubes for signs of ectopic and nothing. No blood flow, no fluids, no blockage, no debris. No bleeding, no cramps, no signs of miscarriage.

So where is the baby you ask? We have NO idea!?

So she wants to see me every other day to do ultrasounds and blood work until we can determine where the embryo is.

I went in today and they did my ultrasound and bloodwork. I am now 6 weeks and 1 day. My HcG levels are 54,000. Which she said was out of wack and was at the right number for a set of twins. (I have no idea)

And my ultrsound was still the same nothing much had changed (which in 2 days what would you really expect to find?)

She said that the visible baby in the yolk was progressing and was age appropriate for 5 weeks. BUT WHERE IS THE OTHER BABY?!?!?!

She also said she saw some debris material at the bottom of the 2nd sac that wasn't on the 1st ultrasound, so could this possibly be implantation of the 2nd baby?

My doctor is stunned to say the least and said she is going to bring my case up in a physician meeting later today to 2nd opinions on the situation.

And she has now verified me as high risk due to possible twins...

Has anyone else experienced this?!
