Comparing to my ex

I had to admitted I'm still hung up on my ex. He was the guy that I would do anything for! He made me feel like I'm in a fairly tale everyday! But this is not the point. The thing is I'm trying my hardest to get over my ex but because my ex was something call "popular" I guess, everyone knew him as a players at work or school. He can get any girl he wants and I agreed because he got me. But every guy that I talked to after that always try to compare themselves to my ex! Most of the time I don't even want to bring him up. I even had a guy that I  hooked up with asked me if he was better than my ex. When I asked him why does it matter? He replies because I heard from a lot of girls that's he really good and I want to be better. And many guys after that acted the same way I'm trying so hard to get over my ex but everyone make seem so impossible.
