I don't know what's going on

So I use the bathroom today and when I went to wipe I saw light spotting and 1 small blood clot about the size of a sesame seed. A friend of mine told me its a sign of early pregnancy. Maybe 5-10 min later I had to use the bathroom again and the same thing happened except there were 2 clots. I would like a few more peoples input who have experienced this before. My period isn't due for another 2 1/2 weeks.
