Introducing foods?

My little girl just tured 4momths. She's been breast fed only. When do I give her baby food?

I started at 4 months. I am doing 1 food a week to check for allergies. I am skipping cereal as it's not really a needed food.

Right now not much "eating" but she smiles mushing it around in her mouth.

If you are breastfeeding you should look into baby led weaning. (I think that's what it is called) it basically skips baby puree food. Gives solid soft food that baby can feed themself. Only when baby is interested. You can try at 6 months. But it could take a couple of months for baby to be interested.  You are weaning baby onto solid food. It doesn't replace any nursing session. You should nurse 1st then try food.  Good luck on what you chose to do. :)

With my first two, my doc had me start them at 4 months. My girl just turned 4 months today and I can't imagine starting yet. I'm in no rush this time around.

My guys 4 1/2 months he's on a breakfast half a jar , a few tea spoons at lunch and a descent size at tea time

We just went to my little one's four month check up, and her doctor said we can start introducing baby food next month. Starting with cereal, then veggies.

I have a son we started him at 5 months. I just don't know when they say to start them now a days.
