One touch Verio glucometer sucks!!
I just got a new glucometer from the clinic my insurance runs. It's a contour, by Bayer. Before that I had been using the verio. What I didn't know is that the verio is known to be wildly inaccurate and often give much higher readings!! Now I'm pissed that I've spent months using that piece of crap and paying for it.
And doctors have been concerned that my fasting glucose is always 10-15 points higher than they want... Well, from my testing with both glucometers, the verio is reliably 10-20 points high.
