When did you schedule your first appointment?

I got my BFP!!  I am so blessed!
When do you schedule the first baby appointment with your OBGYN?

I called my doc the following Monday since I found out on the weekend. My appt was scheduled for around the 8 week mark.

Just called to set mine up and they had something available on February 4th so I took it :) I should be going on 6 weeks at that time. I don't know if that is too early...i cant remember how far along I was with my daughter when I scheduled the appointment.

Im in New Zealand and most people here wouldnt see a OBGYN unless it was a high risk pregnancy...I will contact a midwife this week (will be 4-5 weeks) but assume I won't need to see her until 7-8 weeks for bloods etc :)

I called the day after I got a BFP and they scheduled me for Feb 17th and I'll be 7 weeks. Anyone know what to expect for the first appointment?

I called 2 or 3 days after BFP. I have a prenatal consultation Feb 8. They will just do a urine test, take my weight, and go over paperwork, etc. At that appointment they'll reschedule me for my 8 wk appt

Thanks ladies!!  I just called and they set me up with my first appointment with ultrasound at 8 weeks, then I meet with Dr at 12 weeks. 😬
