Mucus plug or water breaking? (Sorry to be gross)
This morning I was sitting on the couch watching Scandal, basking in my maternity leave when I felt a little something leak from my vagina. No biggie.
About 10 minutes later I stood up and felt a gush. My pants were wet and I went to the bathroom. I also had a little bit of diarrhea. No contractions.
I called my doc and she said to monitor for continued leakage, but that it could be my mucus plug. No other leakage.
I thought the mucus plug was more globby than watery? Has anyone else experienced this?
PS-it definitively wasn't urine. It had a distinct smell.
