Is there any women that were on the depo shot for a Long time and then got off of it and had a difficult time trying to get pregnant?
I was on the depo shot from the time I was 16 until I was 24. I've been off the shot for about a year n
ow and we've been trying since I've been off of it and I can't seem to get pregnant. Is there anyone else that had a hard time? 
(little birth control history. I was on the depo for the time but I also had the mirena also. But I had difficulties with that. And returned to the depo for a year)

I just found out yesterday I'm pregnant. That's after being on depo for 7 years and getting my last needle in Novemeber 2013.

I was on depo from age 19 to 25, my last shot was Novemeber 2013 so that put my first period at March 2014. 
​From March to June I had a period every other week, various flow size. 
​
​July to now I've had regular periods. I have seen a fertility specialist just to discuss the depo, but he said if you're having regular periods I'm ovulating (which I confirmed last month with a +OPK). 
​He said it won't take any longer than someone trying to conceive the first time once you have a regular cycle.
​
​So basically it took 3 months post depo to have a regular period once a month (26 day cycles on average) with an 11 day luteral phase.

​I don't know if this helps I haven't conceived yet, but I have basically been able to for 3 months.

I was on the depo shot for a couple years. When I got off it, my body took a good 2-3 years to regulate again. Good luck
