I am totally freaking out and overwhelmed. My SO works at a male orientated company which is where our insurance is through. He has a bunch of coworkers that have had the the trisomy test done and it was covered. Pre authorization was not required but I had my doc fill out the paperwork and submit it just to be over cautious. Just got the letter back saying the test is not covered!  I feel like I just screwed myself over by submitting the prior authorization. His coworkers have the same insurance and their wives all had healthy pregnancies. The letter says it's not a definitive and since prior auth was not required I can still take the test and maybe it's covered maybe it's not. What should I do? My SO and I know that if our child has one of the trisomy a we would terminate (please no neg comments needed)
