Yes, but I can understand why they do all the checking they do. They want to make sure babies are going to great people. I just think it could be quicker and less expensive.

I don't think it should be quicker or easier. There are reasons background checks and home studies need to be done and all that takes time. As for cost ideally yes it should be less expensive. However if having a newborn isn't a priority, adopting through foster care can be an alternative option that costs far less than private adoption.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad people in this world who pray on children. Making the adoption process easier and cheaper would make it easier for a child to fall into the wrong hands. I wish this was not the case, because I would love to adopt a child.

I think it should be less costly and quicker if feasible but not easier. Children need to be placed in the most suitable homes possible - making it 'easier' implies fewer checks and hoops to jump through. It is for the sake of the child that those measures are there. But if it can be made less costly that would be better.

There are already a lot of failed adoptions and adoptees who are abused. So no. That's a problem we should be trying to make better, not cutting corners on.

No, there are people out there who want to hurt children. The process should be as long as it needs to take to make sure the parents don't have any I'll intentions. I remember a couple adopted a boy and was taking him on trips to allow men to have sex with and molest the little boy.

I don't necessarily think it should be a short process but possibly less costly although I'm not sure how that could be since they have to pay all the ppl who do the work to make sure ur legit. I just think it's crazy to adopt is like 10k but to abort is $300. Make it impossible to save lives but easy to murder - makes no sense

i think all the right precautions should still be taken, but the cost is too much. there are plenty of people with loving homes who want to adopt but can't because its extremely expensive. i would love to adopt but don't think i could afford it. :-(
