How long did it take you to conceive?

All the women in my family have endo, but they all finished having kids by my age. Because of grad school, I've put off starting a family. Recently my obgyn told me if I wanted kids I needed to start trying as soon as I could. The problem is, my SO wants to wait until he feels more financially secure, which will probably be too late. How long did it take you to successfully concieve and were you able to do it naturally?
