I'm 36 y/o & recently got my tubes tied(with clips) on August 13th. I had been on BC since 19 with the exception of 2 (planned) pregnancies between then & now. My first period after surgery was normal. My doctor told me to go ahead & finish the pill pack for that month. I only had a few more weeks anyways. My September period was normal. I had been off of BC for a few weeks by then. Now my October period is here today. I've had normal periods all my life. But I am starting exactly a week early. I'm still not on the pill. Is it normal for periods to get messed up for awhile after a tubal surgery?
