Am i crazy?

Question

I feel so guilty about often thinking of inducing my own labor once baby is considered full term because i am so uncomfortable. The pressure and pains on my pelvis and vagina are killing me! I literally cannot walk more than 5 feet without stopping and needing to sit. I am 34 weeks 1 day and i dream of the day i meet my baby! Any advice?! Im very desperate here 😢

You're not crazy. Of course if it's really uncomfortable you're gonna want baby to hurry up! Do remember, though, that the longer baby stays inside the better. You don't want to have your baby spend weeks in the NICU. today I was fantasizing about baby being born because he/she woke me up at 4:30 and I couldn't go back to sleep and I had to walk around for a few hours until I wasn't unbearably uncomfortable (I'm only 32 weeks, but this morning sucked!). But it's just a fantasy. I remind myself that even if I'm really uncomfortable, at least I'm not getting woken up every hour to feed the baby and being cried at for reasons I don't understand - while baby's inside, I know he's getting enough food, and he doesn't need diaper changes, and he doesn't get bored or overstimulated. It's only a few more weeks of discomfort. I hope you feel better!

My dr agrees to induce at 39 wks if all looks favorable. Meaning that there is dilation and thinning of the cervix. He won't do it before unless medically needed.
I plan to be induced this time just like w 2 of my others. I have insanely fast labors and the hospital is an hr away.  I kno its not a popular decision but it works for me.

Honestly..almost 11 years ago i ask. to be induce..l my daughter will be 11 on march 23...i was 115 pounds b4 i got pregnant by the time i ask to b induced i was at 199 yes almost 80 plus pounds..i was so uncomfortable i ask my dr to induce he agreed my bby was healthy 7lb 5 ozi was i believe 37 weeks..if i would have went to my due date she would have probably got up to 8 9 lbs...i was happy with my choice
