Bleeding after sex??

Question

So my husband and I made love last night for the first time since I found out I was pregnant, 6 wks 3 days. I've been bleeding ever since. Just when I wipe. No cramps. But is bright red and about the size of a quarter every time I go pee. I'm sure I'm fine but has anyone else had this?

Yes! I had lots of blood after sex at week 8. Gushing for a bit but then went away. I wasn't too worried as I had read other people's comments and experiences on here. I'm week 25 now. BUT this app does not replace medical professionals, if it feels weird and you are concerned please go talk to someone.

I had very light spotting after sex once but it didn't last long. I would check in with your doctor to see what's up.

Thank you ladies. My doctor doesn't feel it's normal for me. He requested that I come in and see him first thing tomorrow morning. My bleeding had slowed down and is more brown than red at this point. I'm hoping the worst is over. Thanks for your replies they truly helped me today!😊

My doctor said bleeding after sex is normal. If you want to still call the nurse that's on duty for your doctors office before making that trip to the hospital.

Yep. Happened to me. It's completely normal according to my doc.  Just watch out for bacterial infection. Apparently that can happen, too as the bacteria in your vag gets out of whack. If you start bleeding a lot, get checked out. Otherwise, it's normal.

I read that your cervix is basically super sensitive, and sex can cause blood vessels to burst but if you're worried go to your doc
