what should I do? please help!!

every time my boyfriend comes over which is regularly, he never says thank you to my parents when he leaves. I know it may not be his fault because maybe his parents never taught him that, and he is a very polite kid. I know it bothers my parents but they understand he may have never been taught that, what do I do?

My boyfriend was the same way. Im African so a knowledging your elders is a big thing in my family. So when he see them he has to greet them, tell them good bye, & say please & thank you. I don't really force it upon him but he knows when he dont it bothers me. We talked about it & thats when he said sorry he didn't think it was a big deal & i told him that's just how my family is. Luckily he listened & respected that. Hopefully yours can do the same good luck.
