Constipation???

I'm only in my first trimester (6w) and I'm so constipated!! I've been drinking plenty of water.. Can I use a laxative?

Daily probiotic pill and eat a few prunes daily along with lots of water. I used to suffer from chronic constipation before pregnancy and this helped me.

If that doesn't work, Colace is safe to take during pregnancy.
