What is the next step your dr will suggest if you are not getting your period nor ovulating?

I went off bc in Nov and have not gotten a period nor ovulated since then. I will make an appt with the dr next month. What will
She suggest? Medicine such as provera or clomid? Labs? X-ray? Please comment on what your next step was if faced with this issue!

I'm in a similar situation as you are at the moment. Only my story is I went from having monthly periods to absolutely nothing at all (currently on CD 94). I went to see my doctor last Tuesday and she had me go to the lab for blood work. I'm going back for another appointment with her this Friday so she can talk to me about my lab results and she's also going to give me a sonogram so she can see what's going on. As for what will happen after that, I obviously have no idea... but I'll find out soon! Hopefully this helped you a little ☺ good luck!

First they'll do some blood work and then they will do an ultrasound. After that it depends there are several different treatments and what they use has too many variables for me to say for sure. For me they are letting me TTC for 6 months naturally (February will be our 6th) and if we do not succeed they are sending me to a fertility clinic. Unfortunately my local clinic has really strict BMI rules and they likely will not even help me. I am getting a referral to an endocrinologist to talk about possibly using metformin to help me lose weight and or get pregnant.

For me, it was Clomid days 3-7 of my cycle then progesterone days 14-28 (or end of cycle). I have a progesterone deficiency which I discovered after the lab work. But my doc made me wait until a specific day in my cycle to test for this.

I personally did not struggle with infertility. But, many friends and family members of mine have. Usually blood work is first checking your hormone levels and clomid follows shortly after. I don't have a ton of insights, but some other ladies may be able to give you a better time line of what to expect!
