Confused about sons father joining the navy and birth certificate
If anyone has any info about this it would be greatly appreciated!
My sons father and I are not married and his name is not listed on the birth certificate. He is in the process of joining the navy and wants to sign the birth certificate. Is this necessary for him to do before he joins? I was told he would have to sign his rights over to me in order to be active, would his name have to come off of the birth certificate once he does that anyway?
