Anyone experiencing heavy cramps on the right side?

I'm a little over 20 weeks and yesterday started having some major cramps but only on the right side of my stomach. It lasted about 5 minutes. It was gripping pain and all I could do was lie down on my right side and wait it out. I had some more cramps last night but this time in the middle of my belly and though it wasn't as severe as the morning cramps, it was still pretty intense. Anyone have any insights?
