Glow not updating

As of today my period was considered late. I took a test and it said negative. I went into my cycle chart and it updated saying I shouldn't start now until Thursday. Am I using the app wrong or why did it all of a sudden change today? The only thing I did differently is click the button that says my period is late and it all of a sudden re-calculated? Ugh helpful tips please!
