Progesterone????

So I was prescribed progesterone. My lutal phase is only 9-11 days long and I've had two miscarriages. The weird thing is that they prescribed me regular pills and told me to take them .... Vaginally???? Lol. they are not the gel inserts or the cream... Literal pills you swallow! I was told to take 200mg 2x a day. Anyone have a prescription similar??? It's weirding me out.
