Do you have twins naturally?

Question

Curious of my chances I don't know much about my health history of hyper ovulation. But twins happen a lot in my hubby's side his grandfathers side had 2-3 sets believed to be identical. My hubby was supposed to be a twin but the other never formed correctly (blighted ovum) I'm interested in your comments and results of twins!

I've heard that certain things will increase the odds of having twins like- if the woman has twins in her family, if the woman is tall, if the woman is overweight, if the woman is 35+, etc... 
​My sister just found out she's having twins and the only category she falls into is that she's tall.

My sister is having twins. Fraternal a boy and a girl. Our grandfather I'd a twin and  there has not been any since him until now

I have naturally conceived fraternal twins. I am the first in my family. There are some twins on my hubby's side, but fraternal twins are the result of double ovulation, so it didn't come from his side. We are so blessed!

I have heard that your age and # of previous pregnancies can increase your chances of having twins. My twins were my 5th pregnancy. I had 2 miscarriages after my first daughter.

I dont have a twin gene in my family...I'm intrigued by twins tho but would cry if I was having twins lol I have 2 kids and am more than happy to have them 1 at a time☺ but yet I think it would be cool to have them... but scary haha

Hyper ovulation is what causes fraternal twins. There's 2 seperate eggs. That's what's considered to be passed on, not identical twins. Identical twins start as 1 egg and split early in the pregnancy.
