Tubes tied?

OK so I'm pregnant with baby #3.. I'm 26 and my husband is 32. We have been talking about me getting my tubes tied since we well be having 3 boys already and plus I don't think my health will allow me to have more babies.. We're good with just 3 boys lol.. My questions is : is getting my tubes tied the most a secure way of not getting pregnant? ( I know a girl who had her tubes tied n became pregnant.. But the pregnancy was only in the tube n she got really sick cuz of that) Any opinions on this?
