Baby shower hostess gifts??

I have some showers coming up, but really torn on what is an appropriate amount to spend on the hostess gifts?? One of my showers has 7 hostesses and another has 3 hostesses. How much do you spend on a person? And does anyone have cute gift ideas ??

My mother and sister always threw my baby showers or I mean at least help me coordinate and plan them. I guess I've never heard of someone having like seven hostesses etc. I mean are they paying for the shower or how does that work? And having two showers and that many people coordinating them I can see how It can get a little confusing as to what to get them.

As for the price it depends on how much they are hosting. My best friend insisted on hosting my shower and what she failed to comprehend was she was actually supposed to pay for part/a lot of it(And yes she can afford it) Another good friend is spending a few hundred and I forked the 800 bill for lunch. So bigger more cherishable gift engraved for one, something sweet and memorable for the other. 20-40. You could also see if a local nail salon will give you a discount and you book them for a pedicure party for your hostesses.
