Scared I can't have a baby

Seven years ago my ex and I ttc and after 5 mo and nothing happened he told me I probably couldnt have babies.. ever since then that is all I think about every day.. my boyfriend and I now are ttc and we have been together for 5 years and we never use protection.. like ever.. I know I should get checked by my obgyn but Im scared my fears are only going to be confirmed.. my period is irregular but comes every month just not on the same day every mo. Is their anyway I ciyld self regulate or take some type of vitamins for my reprodutive health... any advise will be truly appreciated... my whole life I've wanted nothing more than to be a mommy please help
