UTI'S ?

Question

I seem to be very prone to them for some reason. My friends who are are sexually active as well, never seem to get them, with the exception of maybe 2. 
​I'm just wondering what can I do to get them less often? I usually get them after intercourse and it's gotten to the point where I've gotten them too many times. 
​Tips? Advice? Help a girl out. Lol thanks loves.

Try urinating immediately after sex to get all of the bacteria out.

Might just be your anatomy :(. I am in the same boat and have been for almost 15 years. There are things you can do to help prevent them though or see a urologist bc if you're having one like every month or every other month you maybe need surgery. Personally I just started drinking a TON of water, cut out all soda and sugary drinks and take a nature made cranberry tablet every morning. Haven't had one in months since and I'm TTC so I'm definitely having lots of sex.

I had the same issue. Have for years. Urinating after sex AND cranberry supplements help. Cranberry makes it so the bacteria cannot stick to your vag wall. I found a really good cranberry plus PRObiotic at rite aid. Works amazingly. Check for it by the family planning....or ask the pharmacist but I promise they are a life saver for me. Plus I cannot stress fluids enough. That should help!

Yep I would get them all the time when I first started dating my husband. Pee right after sex every single time, take cranberry pill and probiotic like Culturelle. I didn't get another until I got pregnant (way later) and my ob said the same thing.

If u play with toys, make sure they are extremely clean first & try to make sure that anything (toy, fingers, him) that touches ur clit (close to ur pee hole) hasn't touched something dirty (like someone's butt).

Also, avoid food play.  (Ice cream "down there" is the worst thing ever! Use ice cubes instead.)

I get them all the time while pregnant try to stay away from using lubes and oils I don't even allow hubby to use saliva I have to shower right after sex if not I immediately start itching for fear of yeast infection I clean really well with just water try not to use fancy bath soap either use something antibacterial I drink a lot of cranberry juice and eat yogurt its aweful Uti are really bad for u and baby good luck mommy

I have the same problem. The only thing that helps is water. Drink as much water as you can always!
