Conceiving after BC? How long did it take??

I've been on the pill for about 7 years now and have decided it's time to get off. How long did it take for you to conceive after getting off BC? I've heard it can be 6 months before returning back to a normal period again.

I was on the pill and then the nuva ring for just over 5 years. This is our 5th month ttc and I think my cycle regulated by about 3 months afterwards as my cycle length has been pretty steady since then (the first month off BC my cycle was 36 days long when it used to be and has now regulated back to 28 days).

i was on the pill for 2 years 2 months, came off it in June last year. seven months later, in January i found out im pregnant! 5 weeks 1 day today🍼

I came off the pill in November and had my first normal period late December, I've just found out late January that I'm pregnant. I was expecting 6-12 months though as I was told that's the average for a healthy couple coming off bc so I guess we were just really lucky!

Took me over a year to get pregnant after bc. I bled for 3 months straight and it took a while after that for my body to get back to normal. Hopefully it is will be quicker for you :-)
