When I met with the diabetes counselor she said to check 2 hours after your first bite as that is when it's most accurate. I believe you can also do after 1 hour as well, but she def said from the time of first bite

I test one hour from the first bite...I'm rarely right on time with testing though. I just try to get it somewhere between first bite and the last. I've been testing for a month now and they seem perfectly happy with the way things are going :-)

I was instructed 1 hr after eating by my dietician. This is do to the results of my 3 hr test. Generally when my sugars are at their highest.

Per my endocrinologist it's an hour after the last bite because you could be snacking for 10 mins....curious why people say first bite? Anywho I'd ask your doctor
