So I had a cervical length check today for.suspected IC as we lost our first to a chorio infection... Weve had them every 2 weeks with the same lady since 16 weeks and all has been well.. Today we get a different lady who had to finish our anatomy and do the cervix length check... Weve been on pelvic rest since week 5 and so the vagina hasnt had any action in a while except these cervix.checks.. My other US tech goes slow and allows time to adjust before looking for the cervix.. Well damn if this lady shoves the rod up there like trying to get the last scoop of peanut butter and holy hell im sore.. It hurt a freaking lot!!!! And she was really rough when looking at babys head right at my pubic bone.. So my whole abdominal area is sore and crampy...

When I asked about how my son is doing she shrugged and said fine i guess and that she doesnt usually work at this location and shes not used to this machine (okay.. How is that my fault?).. Then I asked how is my cervix? And she said oh.. I dont know.. 3-4 something??? Really??? Okay woman this isnt my first rodeo... She looked at her notes and said ehhh... 4.2ish maybe?

So fried.. And sore... And stressed due to some "beaking" or hairline gaping in the top of the cervix.. And genuinely frustrated... Has anyone else had this? Am i just hormonal or do i have grounds to complain?
