Blue veins on areola PMS or Early pregnancy sign?

My boyfriend and I had sex with a condom 10 days after my period ended. I'm supposed to start my period today but I don't have the horrible cramps I usually get (a warning sign before I actually bleed) and on top of that I noticed bright bright blue veins around my nipples and my boobs are a bit tender. I don't think I've ever had veins as bright as they are now before. Is this normal before your period or a sign of early pregnancy?
