Hi all! I need some input on what's going on with me this month. Some background- I have been on birth control for almost 10 years, and the last 2 years I was on Seasonique, so I only got my period every 3 months.

I stopped taking my pills about 2 months ago as my husband and I are TTC #1. My first cycle was only 22 days. I'm now on day 26 of my 2nd cycle being off the pill. I decided to use easy @home ovulation strips this cycle since my cycle was so short last month. I started using the strips CD8 since I had no idea when I'll ovulate being irregular from the pill. Unfortunately I didn't quite realize the importance of waiting to test later in the day for ovulation strips, and I was basing my results off FMU until about CD17. In the time I tested, I had some varying shades of test lines, but none that were actually dark enough to be considered a positive. After I realized my mistake in test times, I just assumed I had ovulated at some point in that time but just missed my surge. I'm pretty sure i had EWCM sometime been CD12-14? I have been still using the test strips nightly (I get home from work around 8pm) just since I never had a true positive and still don't know what my cycle is going to be like. So last night when I tested on CD 25, it was the darkest it has ever been, but still not as dark as the control, but I found it odd that it was so dark this late. They have been almost non-existent the last week. I took another ovulation this this morning with FMU, and I'm pretty sure it was as dark as the control line, maybe just a smidge lighter. I brought a strip to work and hid in the bathroom for 5 minutes this afternoon to test again, and it was much lighter than the last 2 tests. I have also had mild cramping (general pelvic, not one sided) most of the day today. For the heck of it, I used an easy @home pregnancy test this morning and it was negative.

I have no idea what to make of all this and it's driving me crazy! Can anyone give advice or their experiences with TTC coming off the pill, especially if it was Seasonique?
