Advice needed- borderline high FSH

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm meeting with fertility specialist next week but my day 3 fsh is borderline high (11.8 mIU/mL). If it is high this month, does that mean it's always high or could I be having a bad month? Is there anything I can do to bring it down? Are they going to tell me we need to do IVF and use donor eggs?

Google is making me seriously crazy right now and I would absolutely love to hear from other women dealing with this issue- especially if you have had a successful pregnancy after the elevated FSH finding. Thank you!
