I'm wondering if you can help. My friend has had intrusive scans and tests today and has been told that on medical grounds that she need to terminate her pregnancy on Sunday. She is about 23 weeks pregnant. Obviously she is completely devastated, heartbroken and extremely upset. All the sympathy messages are getting to her from her family and friends that know what she's going though... Coping with other people's disappointment for what she's going through. I have known her for 26 years, and I actually don't know what to say... I want to take some pain away from her, tell her it's going to be ok... But I know that I can't do that...

Does anyone one have any words of comfort that might just help her even the smallest amount, but something that isn't pouring out the sympathy to upset her over and over.. I'm at a loss. I'm devastated for her and her partner also. Xxxx
