Former Mirena friends?

Question

I just had my Mirena taken out after 6 years (I had two total) and am still waiting for things to cycle and regulate. I'm kind of playing the guessing game, peeing on lots of ovulation strips since I have zero frame of reference for when my last period was.

Is anyone out there in the same boat? Or was and have figured things out? How long until your cycle regulated?

I'm with you too. I had mine out December 2015, and now I'm only having 1 day periods. This sucks!

Had my mirena taken out in August. Ovulated in September and pregnant in Nov. Currently 14 weeks with a little boy. I'm 33 so I thought it would take much longer. Loved the mirena. Good luck and baby dust.

Mine came back with pretty good regularity.   Shorter/lighter than before (5 as opposed to 9 days) but still on track.

I had my mirena in for 8 yrs loved not having a menstrual thats why after my 5 yr mark I had another out back in but me and my husband decided to have another baby my daughter is 8 now and I cant seem to get pregnant!!! I had my mirena taken out Sept 9th and my periods are reg and always on time or a day or two late but never to off I'm worried it made me not being able to get pregnant

I had my mirena taken out on Jan 4 of this year after having it in for 4 years. Never had a period while on mirena and loved it. After having it removed I felt awful for the first 2-3 weeks. Food aversions, exhaustion, headaches, light headed while working out, etc. I ended up ovulating on 2/1 and felt much better after that. Just got AF on 2/17 for two days so I'm hoping I'm close to normal. I actually finally feel like myself now! I used to have lighter 3 day periods before mirena so while this last one was short, it didn't seem too odd. I had been feeling really alone that first month while experiencing all of my symptoms so I'm glad you posted and got all of the responses.

I'm struggling with this too so thank you for posting! Had the mirena taken out on 2/1 after having in for almost 5 years. Was regular on the mirena with my cycle and now I don't know what's going on my first month off.

I bought the wondflos and tested since cd9 twice a day and never got a positive / haven't seen EWCM. Its cd22 today, and I've been feeling cramps the last couple of days. This is really frustrating / confusing!

I had my Mirena in for 5 1/2 years. Just got it taken out in July 2015..so I thought. Still wasn't having periods by November. They did an ultrasound and noticed that there was a plastic sheath that coats the Mirena still inside so I had to have a D&C. After that I had a normal 6 day period in Dec. Then Jan a 2 day, and Feb a 4 day. I'm not quite regulated but hoping for a BFP anyways! If you don't have a period in 3-4 months definitely consult your Dr. some of the Mirena could still be inside. Otherwise I wish you the best and hope you get your BFP!!

Had mine removed last July still waiting for periods to regulate . Been told can take up to one year to get back to normal

The first time I had mine out I was pregnant a year later, but I wasn't trying to get pregnant before that. I just got mine out last week. I've had it in for 9 months. I'm hoping it doesn't take more than a few months to get pregnant.
