Too early to share our big news??

My boyfriend and I are planning on making our big news public on Valentines Day. I will be 7w6d .. do you think it's too early to share?

A lot of people like waiting till they're past the first trimester, when the risk of miscarriage lowers significantly. I've always believed in telling whenever my heart desires. If God wills it it will be, if not, well you could wait till your due date and the baby would still go if that's what's meant to happen. I say do it when your heart tells you. Besides its not only easier but also a lot more exciting to go through things if you have a larger support system.

Most people say to tell as many people as you would want to know if you did end up having a miscarriage. By that time of your pregnancy, most people's risk is already pretty low, and of course you won't get another chance at an adorable Valentine's announcement! We told a kind of large circle of friends and family at 8+3, and will tell the world after the 12-week ultrasound (mostly because I want to put off unwanted advice from strangers as long as possible). At first I wasn't sure about telling people at 8 weeks, but I've had great fun telling those close to me and I'm glad I did. There's no rules! :-)
