How long do you lay down after when ttc?

So today is my second day of my fertile window and my husband and I had intercourse this morning. I think it's safe to say I laid there for 15 maybe 20 minutes after. We try every other day during my fertile window, but should I be laying down longer than that? Any helpful tips?

You really don't need to lay there after BD. The little swimmers are going to get where they need to go. If it makes you feel more comfortable thought, than That's your choice... 🌠

I always lay there for about 15 minutes with my hips elevated. I know it's not necessary- but it just makes sense to me to let gravity help the little guys!!! lol

I was wondering the same thing.... I looked it up... apparently it's not necessary as the little guys swim pretty fast! But I think gravity totally helps lol. Do what makes you feel good about the process! I layer down with hips elevated a couple times. But haven't since, our lives are so busy right now I'm just glad we can fit sex in, no time to lay around, lol
