Is it ok to eat SOY SAUCE?

I have heard different things about soy sauce not being good for the developing baby? Anyone?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and for the last 5 or 6 weeks all I can stomach is sushi (veggie or cooked only) and watermelon.  I eat my sushi with literally at least 5 teaspoons of soy sauce. My pregnancy and growth has been completely normal.  Not sure where you heard that information but my doctor approved it and said to just make sure it's not raw I was also told extra sodium intake is normal during pregnancy because of an increase in blood volume.  Think about people who live in other countries,  soy sauce is the norm and nothing to panic about.

Once in a while is fine. Soy mimics or actually has estrogen, can't remember which.

I've never heard of that. But just watch your sodium intake. But that's pregnant or not.
