Would you consider this disrespectful?

My cousin's are living at my grandparents house and they are married. We have a house full of people. The other day they were showering together and it made my grandma very uncomfortable to knock on the door and tell them to hurry so she could get in. (there is only one bathroom in the house) would you consider this disrespectful? I think there is a time and place to do that. And it's not in the family shared bathroom. What is your opinion?

Disrespectful to take a shower together and reduce water usage and bathroom time? Not really.

In fact, given that they are increasing someone else's water bill and occupying the only bathroom, I think it pretty cool of them.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings about this. I get that it could be disrespectful because it's your grandmas house, but then again... They're married? There's only one bathroom? What's wrong with that?  If they were only showering together, not having shower sex, I really don't see an issue. 
BUT, then again, people are raised differently. :)

If they are living there then they need to shower too. Taking a shower together doesn't meaning having sex. I shower all the time with my husband and not have sex. I don't see how it can be disrespectful because your grandma had to go potty and needed to tell them she had to go.

They're married. Who cares? If they were ignoring others need to use the one shower because they wanted to have sex in it for shit and giggles, that would be pretty disrespectful. But just bathing together?

I would consider it disrespectful, as it's not solely their house. While intimacy is great, there's a time and a place. My SO and I only shower if we are alone in the house, and know we are going to be so for the duration of the shower. 
If it were their house, I wouldn't find it disrespectful as it's their house, their rules.

I believe that if the person who is allowing you to stay at there place they should be able to make ground rules. A person should  be comfortable in there own home.

I don't think so unless they are having sex in there while grandma is waiting to use the toilet. But it is her house so whatever she finds offensive is offensive.

No. My boyfriend and I live with eachother in his parents house until April when our house is done being remodeled. We always shower together no matter what. It saves water and it kills two birds with one stone. But this is the norm in our house. This might not be the norm in their house so my opinion is irrelevant.

I'm surprised so many people voted yes. I mean, they're married. They live there, currently it's their home too. Unless they were having shower sex then that's not disrespectful at all. I mean they are conserving water, and again they are married. Nothing wrong with open intimacy. Sad that it's making your grandma feel uncomfortable.
