What to expect?

Question

What should I expect when going in to be induced? I'm scheduled for Friday if I make it that far however I'm just unsure of what's to be expected!!! I'm very nervous because my last 3 have come on their own!!!! Please drop some friendly pointers, advice, etc!!!

Don't over think it, I freaked myself out bc everyone said it was going to hurt more. For me it didn't it was one of the best labor and delivery I have had (4) you have to stay laying down and cramping/ light contractions start almost immediately (did for me) but I was still able to sleep most of the night. Be prepared for a lot of waiting!  Initially they hook you up to an iv... the first thing they do is insert medicine in your cervit to try to get it to thin & start labor that way... then again wait.. after about 10 hrs in my case they started pitocin to get my contractions going... they check on you a lot see if you are dilating. Its a long process but worth it... hope you go to labor naturally! I got induced with my first and it was a long day and a half before actually having her! Good luck! ❤
