Is it possible to ovulate and not get a period?

( if NOT pregnant) like...where does the egg go? I ovulated last month and didn't get a period

I have hyperthyroidism. Got my very first period at 25 after 3 healthy babies. Docs told me it was "unlikely " I'd ever conceive cuz of lack of period....  :)
