My husband and I are transferring into a 2 bedroom apartment. I'm trying to figure out sleeping arrangements. Baby girl will have her room and we will have ours. If her room is right next to ours.. Would I let her sleep in her crib in her own room and use a monitor, or do I still use a bassinet in our room? It seems silly to use a bassinet in our room if hers is right next door to us (and bassinets get pricey..) but the thought of her sleeping in her crib in a different room seems so far away and scary. 

Just looking for insight. What would you do?
